Warranty Terms

Frame

Steel and aluminium frames are guaranteed for 2 years against faulty materials and workmanship for as long as the initial consumer purchaser has the bicycle, subject to the Terms and Conditions of this Limited Time Warranty. If frame failure should occur due to faulty materials or workmanship during the guarantee period, the frame will be replaced. For frame replacement under this Limited Warranty, contact us stating the nature of the failure, serial numbers, date received and a copy of the original bill. Frame must be returned for inspection at customer's expense.

Please Note:

The fork is not part of the frame. The length of the useful life cycle will vary depending on the riding conditions. Competition, jumping, downhill racing, trick riding, trial riding, riding in severe conditions or climates, riding with heavy loads or any other non-standard use can substantially shorten the useful product life cycle. Any one or a combination of these conditions may result in an unpredictable failure that is not covered by this warranty. All frame sets should be periodically checked for indications of potential problems, inappropriate use or abuse. These are important safety checks and are very important to help prevent accidents, bodily injury to the rider and shortened useful product life cycle.

Display, Controller, Motor Assembly, Rear Hubs:

Are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 1 year. After any warranty period has elapsed, you may purchase spare and replacement parts by contacting us.

Original Battery:

Battery is warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase as follows: full replacement during the first 1 year. Warranty is not applicable for any damages occurred to the battery and charging cable due to voltage/short circuit issues, pin breakage, external wire damage, accidental/physical damage, water damage. Replacement Batteries (if provided) – are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 6 months from date of delivery.

For warranty issues, Nuze will cover the cost of labor involved handling the warranty service within the 30-day period after purchase. To receive this service, the customer should have registered their bicycle on the Nuze website and then contact Nuze directly, post which necessary arrangements will be made.

After the 30-day free repair labor period, the owner will be responsible for labor costs associated with warranty replacements. For any parts under warranty that will need to be replaced within the 1 year time frame, Nuze will cover the cost of regular ground freight to the customer.

Limited Remedy:

Unless otherwise provided, the sole remedy under the above warranty, or any implied warranty, is limited to the replacement of defective components and parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of Nuze. Unless within the free 30-day repair labor period, the customer is responsible for labor costs associated with warranty replacements.

In no event shall Nuze be responsible for direct, incidental or consequential damages, including, without limitation, damages for personal injury, property damage and negligence.

Exclusions

The above warranty, or any implied warranty, does not cover normal wear and tear of any part and component. All warranties are void if the electric vehicle is used for other than normal activities, or outside of recommended parameters including but not limited to exceeding the maximum recommended rider weight of 90kgs/198lbs, failing to follow the owner’s manual or using the electric vehicle for commercial activities or in competitive events, and training for such activities or events.
